In short
Header Ext does not collect, upload, or share your data. Every setting stays in your browser's local storage.
Data collection
No data is collected. Header Ext has no server and sends no network requests that transfer your information to a remote service.
Where settings are stored
Profiles, rules, and preferences are stored in the browser's storage.local.
They remain on the current device and browser profile and are removed when the
extension is uninstalled.
Permissions
Header Ext uses the declarativeNetRequest API to rewrite requests according to
your rules. Matching and rewriting are performed by the browser engine.
The extension does not read request or response bodies and injects no content scripts into visited pages.
Third parties
Header Ext includes no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking service.
Firefox declaration
The Firefox manifest declares
data_collection_permissions: { required: ["none"] } in its gecko section,
explicitly stating that no data is collected.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Material changes will also be noted in the relevant release notes.
